Hello Mike, I'm sorry to hear that you feel this way but I think you are confusing "refused" with "not able to". As much as we'd love to fix every car that comes through our door the truth is sometimes we don't have the tools or software required to do so. Some of the software is very specific to certain vehicles and if that's not a vehicle we see frequently it's hard to justify the purchase. I believe throughout the process our team was very communicative in what we were seeing and told you a number of times that if it was module related that we would not be able to complete the programming required for that repair. That would be a dealer only service. As for the one hour charged, if you remember correctly, a portion of that time spent was to diagnose a suspension issue and look into work you previously had done by a body shop and another shop. We spent substantially more time then what was invoiced. Like I said in the beginning, we'd love to be able to fix it all. What we will always try our best to do is communicate the best we can.

Hello Brandon, We strive to have positive interactions with every single one of our customers, as you and everyone can see by the rest of our reviews. However, It's very difficult when we have a customer such as yourself bring in their own parts, after we spend time telling them what 100% works for their vehicle. This is actually the second car you've brought us where we had to chase tuning issues due to the box tune you purchased not being an ideal solution. So now on two occasions we have spent hours diagnosing issues unrelated to work that was done at Chicane and wouldn't have even been required if you followed recommendations of avoiding VR Tuning (Vivid Racing). I feel our diagnostic policy is more lenient and cheaper than most if not ALL shops in the area but we can't continue to work for free especially in a case like this with customer supplied parts.
